THE PROBLEM

Our global systems drive patterns of behavior that are entirely unsustainable. As a result, temperatures are rising, our climate is largely disturbed, and people across the globe are being displaced and driven to severe exclusion. This cannot go on.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Thousands of people arriving to our countries, ready to work and integrate.

&

Thousands of creative projects around the world addressing issues at the intersection of integration and sustainability. These are community based solutions to global problems that make real sense-  but are scattered across the globe with no combined impact.

THE SOLUTION

We aim to unify these projects in a place-based approach: we’re creating a pilot neighborhood that combines global learnings and reimagines how we live together - Our two priorities: sustainable systems and welcoming the displaced. The result: resilient economies that make ecology and integration effortless, natural behavior.

  • An urban ecosystem that addresses the tension between climate change and forced displacement, enabling both refugees and locals to act together towards new models of integration and sustainability.

  • A neighborhood that will take the form of a mixed-use development providing space for housing, community infrastructures as well as businesses.

  • An economically thriving ecology that pushes innovation in food, materials and green technology via high tech and low tech projects that empower all participants in a global challenge
